Elizabeth Adams

Senior Researcher

Elizabeth Adams is a senior researcher in the Education Systems and Policy, Human Services program at AIR. She has extensive experience in quantitative educational research including causal inference and quasi-experimental research design and measurement development and validation.

Her work primarily focuses on K-8 interdisciplinary STEM education. She has interest in socio-emotional learning and measuring outcomes such as classroom instruction and affective dimensions of students and teachers. Previously, Dr. Adams was a STEM researcher at Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX for five years. She was a lead fourth grade teacher and intervention specialist in Wake County Public Schools, Raleigh, NC for four years.
