Diversity MBA Honors American Institutes for Research for Workforce Diversity

AIR Ranks Tenth in “50 Out Front: Best Places to Work for Women and Diverse Managers”

Diversity MBA, a national leadership organization that integrates diversity and inclusion with talent management, has recognized AIR’s continued progress to retaining and developing a diverse workforce—marking the fourth time the institution has received the honor in the past five years. AIR ranked tenth among top employers that are creating meaningful career opportunities for women and people of color in 2023, along with Boston Consulting Group, Children’s Mercy Hospital, Deloitte Consulting and more. In addition to the primary recognition, AIR earned a Best in Class award for significant contributions to advancing DEI throughout the institution.

Diversity, equity and inclusion is central to our mission and to how we operate at AIR,” said Karen Francis, AIR vice president and chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. “We continue to work diligently towards greater inclusion, creating a positive work environment centered in equity for women in the workplace.”

Diversity MBA’s benchmarking assessment is a valuable tool that measures how companies are advancing diversity, equity and inclusion with the intersection of talent management. The 2023 ranking was based on an evaluation of companies with inclusion and diversity strategies based on accountability, succession planning, representation, workplace inclusion, recruitment and board diversity.

Both recognitions will be announced in Diversity MBA Magazine in September and AIR, along with the other companies on the list, will be honored at an awards celebration in Chicago on September 27 and 28.
